Recent photos of NewJeans’ Haerin have been released, with ADOR posting a congratulatory message at midnight to celebrate her birthday.
The official NewJeans account shared photos of Haerin on May 15th with the caption, “HAPPY HAERIN DAY,” along with hashtags including #HAPPY_HAERIN_DAY, #NewJeans, and #HAERIN.
In the photos, Haerin is seen at the beach with a flower tucked behind her ear. She also showcased a more mature side in crop tops, posing both indoors and on the streets.
This update is particularly notable as it provides the first glimpse of Haerin since news of her return to ADOR. Following a recent update from Minji on the official account, expectations are rising for a full-scale resumption of NewJeans’ activities.

Fans reacted enthusiastically to the photos of Haerin, who has now reached adulthood, leaving comments such as: “She’s all grown up,” “I missed you,” “Happy Birthday” and “I’ve missed you so much.” The post garnered over 680,000 likes within just a few hours.
The members of NewJeans have been involved in a legal dispute with ADOR over their exclusive contracts for roughly two years. Since then, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni have announced their return to ADOR. Recent sightings in Copenhagen, along with reports of studio bookings, have further fueled expectations of a comeback.
ADOR stated, “We are in pre-production to capture a new musical narrative,” adding, “We are preparing activities based on each member’s condition and optimized schedules.”
With Minji also confirming that she is “in discussions” regarding her return, fans are closely watching the possibility of NewJeans operating as a four-member group.
Meanwhile, Danielle was removed from the team by ADOR last December over alleged contract violations. ADOR subsequently filed a 43.1 billion won ($29 million) damages lawsuit against Danielle, a family member, and former CEO Min Hee Jin. The first hearing for this lawsuit was held on May 14 at the Seoul Central District Court.
