Lee Chang Dong’s latest film Possible Love is headed to the BFI London Film Festival.
Netflix announced September 4th that the film has been invited to the Gala section of the 70th BFI London Film Festival, which takes place next month.
The selection marks Lee’s sixth invitation to the festival, following A Peppermint Candy, Oasis, Secret Sunshine, Poetry and Burning.
Possible Love centers on two married couples — one involving a laid-off worker and the other a documentary filmmaker — whose lives become intertwined after they meet through the making of a film.
The Netflix-produced feature stars Jeon Do Yeon, Sul Kyung Gu, Zo In Sung and Cho Yeo Jeong.
The film is also competing at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, where it is set to have its world premiere.
Possible Love opens in Korean theaters on September 23rd before arriving on Netflix on November 6th.
