Will we be able to see Yoo Ah In and Lee Byung Hun on the same screen?
Yoo Ah In is positively reviewing the offer he received from the movie Showdown, which is about the Go game. Showdown tells the story of Go legend Cho Hun Hyun and Lee Chang Ho. Director Kim Hyung Joo, who debuted in 2017 with the film The Sheriff In Town, will be directing the film, and Moonlight Film, a film company led by director Yoon Jong Bin, will be in charge of production.
The role of Cho Hun Hyun is known to be played by Lee Byung Hun, and if Yoo Ah In joined the project, an intriguing “acting showdown” between the two actors that represent the Korean film industry is expected. Yoo Ah In is known to have been offered the role of Lee Chang Ho.
Yoo Ah In is currently filming Netflix original series Hellbound, directed by Yeon Sang Ho, and is gearing up to greet the audience with his new film Voice of Silence on Oct. 15.
Showdown will start filming by the end of this year.
