Big Bang and YG Entertainment (hereinafter YG) have confirmed their strong trust, by renewing the contract for the third time.
On March 11, YG officially announced that they have sign exclusive contract with G-Dragon, Taeyang, TOP and Daesung, every member of Big Bang. This is the third time that Big Bang and YG have renewed their contract, following 2011 and 2015.
Since their debut in 2006, Big Bang has produced numerous hit songs and established an unrivaled realm. It is a rare case in which every member of the top K-POP group has been together for more than 20 years with an agency that they were in since their trainee days.
“Big Bang is a group that has changed the trend of Korean pop culture,“ YG commented about the recent contract. “ We will continue to provide full support for Big Bang so that they will create new history in K-POP scene as our representative artist.”
With much attention being focused, Big Bang is preparing their new music for a their comeback in 2020.
