Go Min Si is set to team up with Hwang Jung Min for the first time.
According to OSEN on June 23rd, Go recently decided to join the upcoming film A Good Place to Live (working title).
Hwang’s casting had previously been reported, and with Go now joining as the female lead, attention is growing over the two actors’ first onscreen collaboration.
Go made her acting debut in the 2017 SBS drama My Sassy Girl and has since appeared in the Sweet Home series, Youth of May, The Witch and Smugglers. She is also set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series Dead-End Job later this year.
A Good Place to Live is the latest project from director Um Tae Hwa and is known to be a horror film. Um first drew attention in the independent film scene with INGtoogi: The Battle of Internet Trolls in 2013, then earned praise for his commercial film debut Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned in 2016. His 2023 film Concrete Utopia drew nearly 4 million moviegoers and was recognized for both its box office performance and quality.
A Good Place to Live will be distributed and financed by NEW and produced by Barunson E&A.
