Behind-the-scenes footage of a sweet kiss scene between actors Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon is gaining attention online, with some netizens jokingly expressing concern for Lim Ji Yeon’s public boyfriend, actor Lee Do Hyun.
The making-of video for My Royal Nemesis Episodes 13–14 was uploaded to SBS Catch on June 23rd.
The video shows behind-the-scenes moments from the final two episodes of the SBS drama My Royal Nemesis, especially a bed kiss scene between Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon, who play a couple in the series.
Before filming, the director said, “Let’s make it realistic, like peeking into their everyday lives.” Heo Nam Jun responded enthusiastically, saying, “I will do my best!”
Lim Ji Yeon, who was actively sharing ideas to highlight Heo Nam Jun’s character, also suggested a concept for the kiss scene. She said, “What if we kiss after I pretend to be hurt and he asks, ‘Are you okay?’” Heo Nam Jun replied, “I’m a professional at that!”
During filming, the actors created a natural and romantic atmosphere with close, emotional acting. Heo Nam Jun also added playful improvisations, saying, “It hurts, ouch,” and “Kiss me.”
After the video was released, netizens reacted with comments like “The kissing sounds are insane,” “What’s with Cha Se Gye’s aegyo?” and “This scene is so sweet.”
Some also left humorous comments such as “I’m a fan of Heo Nam Jun, but I’m worried about Lee Do Hyun,” “Is Lee Do Hyun okay?”, “Do Hyun, let’s close our eyes for a moment,” and “I feel like I’m subconsciously thinking about Lee Do Hyun.”
Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Do Hyun met through the Netflix series The Glory and have been publicly dating since 2023.
