Taeyeon, a member of Girls’ Generation, lost her father on March 9.
Taeyeon’s father passed away with an acute myocardial infarction this morning. After hearing the sad news, Taeyeon hurried to the hospital to see her family.
According to SM Entertainment, the funeral ceremony will be held quietly with only family members.
Today is Taeyeon’s 31st Birthday. The public are sending her supports as she lost her father on her birthday.
Since she is planning on staying with her family for the funeral, her new song, “Happy,” scheduled to be released today and the live broadcast through V LIVE will be postponed.
