Lee Jong Suk returns to his fans side after completing his alternative civilian service.
Today, Lee Jong Suk will be released from his military service. The actor served his military duty as a social service agent from March of 2019. He was reported to have been assigned to an alternative civilian service after a car accident he suffered in middle school ruptured his cruciate ligament.
Lee Jong Suk is expected to resume his career right after his discharge as he was reported to have confirmed his special appearance in director Park Hoon Jung’s new film The Witch 2 (working title), the sequel to The Witch 1 (The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion).
Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk debuted in 2010 through the drama Prosecutor Princess. He then made his face known with Secret Garden and School 2013 and rose to stardom through I Can Hear Your Voice. Right before his enlistment, he worked with his “dream girl” Lee Na Young in the 2019 drama Romance is a Bonus Book.
