Lim Se Joo’s agency has confirmed that she and actor Yoo Seung Ho have recently broken up after dating for six years.
A representative from Lim Se Joo’s agency, Moving Pictures Company, told reporters on the afternoon of October 8th, “We confirmed with Lim Se Joo that she dated Yoo Seung Ho for six years, but the two recently broke up.” The couple reportedly began arguing frequently about a month ago before ending their relationship.
Earlier, Edaily reported that Lim Se Jooand Yoo Seung Ho had been dating for six years. Yoo Seung Ho’s agency said at the time that it was checking the report.
Edaily stated that the two began dating after working together on the tvN drama Memorist, which premiered in March 2020. They reportedly kept their relationship private, telling only close friends and acquaintances. However, they were occasionally spotted together in public, including walking Yoo Seung Ho’s dog in Seoul and going on dates in Paju.
The breakup news comes as Yoo Seung Ho is holding his first photography exhibition in Seoul. He also recently made a special appearance in SBS’s Flex X Cop Season 2.
Yoo Seung Ho first rose to fame as a child actor in the 2002 film. The dating news marks the first public relationship rumor of his 26-year career.
Lim Se Joo, who is two years older than Yoo Seung Ho, has appeared in dramas including A Killer Paradox, Maestra: Strings of Truth, Zombie Detective, Mother and Mom and The Judge from Hell. Her film credits include Watching and Salut d’Amour. She began her career as a singer under the stage name Heora in 2011 before expanding into acting in 2014.
