ATEEZ’s San has addressed his recent Milan dating rumor again, this time with a joke.
A preview for the next episode of YouTube show “Salon Drip,” released on October 6th, featured San and fellow ATEEZ member Wooyoung as upcoming guests.
“I just got back from Milan today,” San said in the teaser, prompting host Jang Do Yeon to indirectly bring up the dating speculation that followed his trip.
San laughed and replied, “I guess this is what happens when you make it.”
Wooyoung quickly joined in on the teasing, joking, “These days, he goes around outside boasting, ‘Don’t you know who I am?'”
San fired back, “Even when he mocks me like this, it doesn’t bother me,” before Wooyoung added, “Stop acting so full of yourself.”
The exchange comes after San became the subject of dating rumors in September when footage of him walking with a woman in Milan circulated online.
KQ Entertainment later clarified that the woman was a representative of a local brand who was accompanying San to purchase items he needed, adding that his manager and local security staff were also present.
San also denied the rumor directly on a fan communication platform.
“I saw some dating rumors, but it’s not true,” he said. “Still, thank you for all the attention.”
He also expressed discomfort over being followed and secretly filmed during the trip.
“I don’t know how they know, but people follow me everywhere I go, and it’s a little unsettling,” San said. “Running into someone by chance is great, but if it’s not by chance, it’s a little uncomfortable.”
He added, “Secretly filming someone is wrong too. Let’s not commit crimes. Before I catch you.”
ATEEZ released their 14th mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 in June. San also drew wider attention through a viral dance challenge for title track “BAD.”
