Ong Seong Wu has renewed his contract with Fantagio.

Fantagio officially announced on February 9th that they’ve extended their exclusive contract with the star.

Before the announcement, Ong personally shared the news with his fans on February 6th through a heartfelt message on his fan cafe. “I’ve decided to stay with the agency after much thought and discussion,” he wrote. He also expressed his strong bond with Fantagio, saying, “I plan to spend the rest of my early career, not in a new place, but in a familiar one.”

Ong first rose to fame as a member of the project group Wanna One before successfully transitioning into acting. He debuted in the drama At Eighteen, which earned him the Best New Actor award at the 2019 Korea Drama Awards.

Since then, he has built an impressive career, starring in films like Seoul Vibe and Life Is Beautiful, and popular dramas such as More Than Friends and Strong Girl Nam-soon. In July 2025, Ong made his stage debut in the play Shakespeare in Love.

Looking ahead, Ong will continue his busy schedule with an upcoming fan meeting, ONG LAND, which will take place in China on March 7th.
