Park Myung Soo and singer Jessica, the duo behind the hit summer song “Naengmyeon,” are teaming up again after 17 years.
The 2026 Infinite Challenge Run in Gyeongju will take place on September 19 in Gyeongju. The event features a storyline inspired by the popular “Police and Thieves” and “Gyeongju Treasure Hunt” episodes from Infinite Challenge, with royal guards protecting treasure while thieves attempt to steal it.
Former Infinite Challenge members Park Myung Soo, Jung Jun Ha, Haha and Hwang Kwang Hee will meet fans in Gyeongju following their previous fan event in Seoul’s Sangam district last June.
The post-race celebration will also feature performances from several stars who appeared in past Infinite Challenge music festivals, including Park Myung Soo’s DJ persona DJ G-PARK, Jessica, Skull, Haha, Zion.T, Yoon Mi Rae, Tiger JK and Lee Juck.
The most anticipated reunion is Park Myung Soo and Jessica’s return as the duo Myung-Ca Drive. The two worked together in 2009 for the Olympic Expressway Duet Festival and released “Naengmyeon,” which became a huge summer hit.
The song topped music charts after its release and remains a beloved seasonal favorite nearly two decades later.
The performance is also significant because it marks Jessica’s return to Korean broadcast activities after a long break. After leaving Girls’ Generation in 2014, she has mainly focused on overseas promotions, business ventures, and her personal content channel, especially in China.
This will be one of her first major appearances in front of Korean fans in years.
Recently, Jessica also drew attention after performing Girls’ Generation’s hit songs at her solo concert. While many fans welcomed the performance, saying they were happy to hear her sing the group’s songs again, others questioned whether she should perform Girls’ Generation’s music after leaving the group.
