2NE1’s Park Bom is taking a much-needed break amid the group’s ongoing Asia tour.
According to Starnews on February 27th, Park Bom plans to dedicate approximately one month to rest without scheduling any activities ahead of the group’s upcoming Seoul concerts in April.
2NE1 has been on their “24-25 2NE1 ASIA TOUR” since October last year, celebrating their 15th debut anniversary. While fans were initially thrilled to see the beloved group back on stage, some began questioning Park Bom’s commitment when footage showed her standing motionless during performances. These moments sparked online discussions about her sincerity and dedication to the tour.
In response to these criticisms, a representative for Park Bom defended the singer, explaining: “She appeared tired in the latter parts of performances due to physical fatigue, not because she was intentionally putting in less effort on stage.”
Additionally, fans also expressed worry after Park Bom’s constant mention of actor Lee Min Ho’s name on social media despite reportedly having no known connection, which some interpreted as a potential sign of health concerns.
2NE1 is scheduled to hold their Seoul concerts at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park on April 12th and 13th.
