Song Hye Kyo is moving into a new chapter after leaving UAA.

The actress is reportedly signing with a new agency founded by Shin Jae Ho, a former AAP executive who is married to Song’s longtime stylist, who has worked with the actress for more than 20 years.

On July 12, Shin said in a statement, “Song Hye Kyo has built long-standing trust with an industry figure she previously worked with on overseas activities, and they share a common understanding of the direction of her future career. We ask for your understanding that we cannot share specific details at this time.”

Before joining AAP, Shin helped manage Song’s work in China and overseas. With that history and his personal connection to her stylist, he and Song reportedly maintained a close relationship. Shin has since informed AAP of his plan to resign.

While Song was initially rumored to be launching a one-person agency, reports now say Shin will establish a new management company after leaving AAP, with Song signing under the new firm.

Song recently ended her 14-year partnership with UAA.

UAA confirmed, “The time we spent with her will remain a happy and cherished memory. We ask for fans’ warm interest, encouragement and love as Song Hye Kyo stands at a new starting line.”

Song also shared her own message, writing, “Every moment we shared will remain precious memories in my heart. I sincerely cheer on all of UAA’s days ahead!”

She added a personal note to the agency’s CEO: “Thank you, unnie ♥”
