Seo In Guk and Park Ji Hyun’s office romance is heating up overseas.
tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama See You at Work Tomorrow! follows Cha Ji Yoon, a seventh-year office worker stuck in a rut, and Kang Si Woo, her prickly boss, as they slowly become each other’s best choice.
In the latest episode, Kang Si Woo (Seo In Guk) and Cha Ji Yoon (Park Ji Hyun) finally moved past their misunderstandings and confessed their feelings.
“All my kindness toward you was romantic interest,” Kang told her. Cha answered, “Don’t go to the U.S. Stay by my side.” She then asked, “Can I kiss you?” before the two shared a kiss, officially launching their mutual romance.
The pair started as an all-business boss and a burned-out employee, but grew closer while leading a task force together. Kang showed his feelings through quiet actions, while Cha slowly found herself drawn to his unexpectedly caring side.
Episode 6’s epilogue added another romantic reveal: Kang had already decided to give up his move to the U.S. before Cha confessed.
Despite softer ratings at home, the drama is gaining global traction. According to FlixPatrol, See You at Work Tomorrow! ranked No. 8 worldwide on Prime Video for the week of June 29 to July 5 and No. 1 among non-English titles.
It also hit No. 1 in Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, and landed in the Top 10 in 44 countries, including the U.S., Japan, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany and Australia.
In Korea, the drama ranked No. 3 among TV dramas in FUNdex’s TV buzz rankings for the first week of July. Seo In Guk and Park Ji Hyun also placed No. 5 and No. 7, respectively, among cast members.
Still, domestic ratings have remained in the 4% range for six straight episodes. Episode 6 recorded a series low of 4.3% after the drama premiered at 4.8%.
Producer Kim Sun Tae teased that Ji Yoon and Si Woo will now move into a deeper, more mature romance. “Their story won’t just make viewers want to go to work,” he said. “It will make them want to fall in love, too.”
