HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk is drawing attention after being spotted with a woman in Seoul.
On July 10, a post and video titled “I saw Chairman Bang in Seongsu-dong” were uploaded to Xiaohongshu, often described as China’s version of Instagram.
The poster said they were shopping at a discount store in Seongsu when they suddenly noticed a man who looked like Bang.
“I looked closer because he looked so much like Chairman Bang, and he had a CORTIS doll hanging from his waist,” the poster wrote, referring to the HYBE idol group. “My friend and I burst out laughing when we saw the doll.”
The poster also claimed Bang appeared to be with a woman who looked like his girlfriend and shared a photo of the two.
“She was seriously pretty and beautiful,” the poster wrote. “Even from the back, she looked stunning, and from the front, she had this pure, beautiful look. She had the perfect model-like face and figure.”
In the photo, Bang is seen walking side by side with the woman. She wore a casual outfit featuring a ribbon-detailed backless top and white bottoms, while carrying a luxury shopping bag. Bang, walking to her left, wore black pants and a light-colored patterned shirt.
HYBE has not yet commented on the sighting.
Bang previously made headlines in August 2024 after being spotted in Beverly Hills, California, with a female BJ who was reportedly 28 years younger than him.
At the time, HYBE denied dating rumors, explaining that Bang had first met her while dealing with an issue involving someone impersonating an entertainment industry figure. The company added that when she later asked about tourist spots and restaurants in the U.S., Bang helped make reservations and showed her around.
