Nam Ji Hyun transforms into a conservative marketer in TVING’s upcoming series Make Me Tremble.
Set to premiere October 15th, the TVING original series follows the romance between a woman who refuses to date without love and a man who believes love and physical attraction can exist separately.
Nam Ji Hyun plays Gong Yeon Soo, the eldest daughter of a traditional family. Raised with strict values about proper behavior, Yeon Soo attended an all-girls middle school, high school and university, shaping her conservative views on relationships.
However, she is quick to embrace change at work. Yeon Soo has a sharp eye for trends and has earned a reputation as one of the company’s top performers as a marketer.
Her latest assignment puts her values to the test. Despite being cautious about physical intimacy in her own relationship, Yeon Soo is tasked with marketing sex toys, a product that could not be further from her personal beliefs.
She also crosses paths with Dok Go Dal, played by Kim Jae Yeong, the CEO of a sex toy startup and a new advertiser for her company. Unlike Yeon Soo, Dok Go Dal sees love and physical attraction as separate things. Their opposing views on relationships bring them together through work and gradually pull them into an unexpected relationship.
The newly released stills showcase Yeon Soo at different stages of her life, from her school days to her career as a marketer. The photos capture her focused during meetings as well as her surprised reaction to encountering sex toys for the first time.
Make Me Tremble will premiere its first four episodes simultaneously on October 15th.
