On August 23rd, Kim performed at Mahakarya RCTI 37, a special program celebrating the 37th anniversary of RCTI, Indonesia’s largest private broadcaster. During the show, he sang a track from the hit drama Dream High, one of his most famous breakout roles, and spent time greeting the cheering audience. RCTI later shared a video of his appearance online with the caption: “Kim Soo Hyun has arrived. You can feel how much everyone has missed him. Welcome back.”

The defamation trial involving Kim Se Eui, head of the YouTube channel Hover Lab, has been reassigned from a single judge to a three-judge panel. Kim Se Eui faces charges for allegedly spreading false information about the actor’s personal life, including unfounded rumors regarding a relationship and financial debts connected to the late actress Kim Sae-ron. He is also accused of releasing private photos of Kim Soo Hyun and using AI technology to manipulate the late actress’s voice.
