
Byeon Woo Seok has learned that one of his donations helped a child safely receive medical treatment.
On August 5th, the actor shared several campaign photos from a brand he represents on his Instagram.
Lee Ae Young, who appeared on the Netflix variety show Jae-seok’s B&B Rules!, later left a comment with a touching update.
“Manager Byeon! I have some news I wanted to share with you,” she wrote. “I heard that a child at the children’s home in Yongsan, where I used to work, was able to safely receive treatment thanks to your donation for young patients.”
She continued, “It feels so incredible and moving that your kindness reached a place that means so much to me. Thank you sincerely for giving one child such great hope. I truly respect you and will always be cheering you on. I hope this message reaches you.”
Byeon replied, “That is truly happy news.”
The actor previously donated 300 million won (approximately $216,000) to Severance Hospital in 2024 to support the treatment of pediatric patients. In 2025, he donated all proceeds from his merchandise to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
On January 1st, 2026, he made an additional 100 million won donation to help fund treatment for children and adolescents.
Byeon is currently filming Netflix’s live-action series Solo Leveling.
