Paris Fashion Week brought plenty of attention to Korean and Asian stars this season, with Jun Ji Hyun and Song Kang making headlines for very different reasons.
Jun Ji Hyun recently drew attention after photos of her attending the 2027 S/S Saint Laurent show sparked an online debate about her appearance. Some viewers questioned whether the actress had undergone a dramatic change in her appearance, while others pointed to the lighting and camera angles as possible reasons for the difference.
Jun Ji Hyun appeared in a daring black sheer look with distinctive detailing at the fashion show. Some photos made her cheeks appear slimmer and her cheekbones more prominent than usual, leading to speculation about whether she had lost a significant amount of weight.

Jun Ji Hyun has also spoken about her commitment to staying active, previously revealing that she exercises regularly and has even taken up kickboxing.
Song Kang, meanwhile, became the subject of a lighthearted moment at Paris Fashion Week after Thai actor Tay Tawan publicly apologized to him.
Tay Tawan took to his personal account on October 2nd to apologize after realizing that he had been taking up more space than intended while sitting next to Song Kang during the show. “Sorry Song Kang,” Tay Tawan wrote, adding that he had only realized afterward that he had been taking up too much space. He jokingly added that Song Kang could kick his leg the next time they met if he failed to notice again.
The two actors had attended the fashion event together in Paris. Tay Tawan had been sitting with his legs spread out, while Song Kang sat beside him with his legs together in the limited space available. Song Kang occasionally turned toward Tay Tawan during the show but appeared unfazed, smiling throughout the event.
Song Kang recently wrapped his latest drama, Four Hands, Two Sonatas, which ended on October 4th. The actor played Kang Bi Oh in the tvN weekend drama.
