Tiffany Young has an especially packed year ahead.

Since June 30th, The Girls’ Generation member has been starring as Yumi in the original musical adaptation of Yumi’s Cells at the Seoul Arts Center.

Much like Yumi, whose “prime cell” is the Love Cell, Tiffany says love is also what keeps her going.

Tiffany and actor Byun Yo Han officially became husband and wife after registering their marriage in February.

Speaking about her husband, Tiffany said, “No matter what I do, my husband is always firmly in my corner. He supports me in everything. Recently, he even sent a coffee truck to the ‘Yumi’s Cells’ rehearsal, which completely surprised me. It was so thoughtful and sweet, and I was really touched.”

She added, “Even with his busy schedule, he came to see the very first performance. He said he was so moved that he cired a little.”

Tiffany said Byun is also the first person she turns to for feedback on her music.

“He’s always the first person to give me feedback during the music-making process, and he’s always at the center of my life,” she said. “He always cheers me on and just believes in me. He has such handsome eyes that I sometimes think, ‘I want to have that kind of gaze too.'”

Calling Byun her “life partner,” Tiffany continued, “Being happily married gives me even more strength. He’s someone who gives me the drive to keep moving forward, and I feel like a new chapter has started because of him. I’m really, really happy.”

Still, the couple surprised fans by announcing their marriage registration without holding a public wedding.

Asked about that decision, Tiffany made it clear that while she is open about her love for Byun, a wedding is something she considers personal.

“A lot of people around me ask about it, but that’s a private area of my life,” she said.

“I’ve been in Girls’ Generation since I was very young, and so much of that life was glamorous. But that glamorous image came with the work, and that’s actually very different from who I am in real life,” Tiffany explained.

She added, “Choosing to share that we had registered our marriage was as far as I wanted to go, and I felt that was enough. As for a wedding, even if we do have one someday, I consider that part of my private life, so right now, I don’t plan on sharing it.”
