Tiffany Young opened up about her marriage to actor Byun Yo Han and shared details about their private relationship.
On MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View on June 27, she was asked what had changed since getting married. Tiffany said, “I gained a really reliable partner. I feel like I reset at the end of each day and get the strength to face the world again.”
She described Byun Yo Han as “clumsy but delicate,” and added, “He said that since I’m a ‘Power J’ (someone who loves planning, according to MBTI test results), we can handle anything together.”
When asked how long they had been dating, she answered, “One year.” She also shared how they got married, saying, “In February, our families gathered for our marriage registration and congratulated us. We registered our marriage in both Los Angeles and Korea, and then took Polaroid photos.”
She also talked about Girls’ Generation, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year.
Looking ahead to a possible full-group comeback, she said, “We also got together for our 10th and 15th anniversaries. We’ve built up experience, so we’re preparing a big project for our 20th anniversary.”
About the timing, she added, “Girls’ Generation was formed in the summer, so we want to come back with a great performance next summer.”
She also mentioned the unit “HYORISOO,” made up of Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung, which has been getting attention for their vocals and fun chemistry.
Tiffany joked, “I think Girls’ Generation-TTS’s presence is fading. I feel like we’ve been caught,” and added, “Taeyeon and Seohyun haven’t really reacted, which might be the problem,” making everyone laugh.
When asked if Byun Yo Han supports HYORISOO, she joked that he said, “I wonder how far my real sisters-in-law will go,” which made people laugh again.
She also shared that her Girls’ Generation members didn’t know about her relationship at first, saying she kept it secret for a year.
When asked who found out first, she said, “It probably wasn’t Hyoyeon,” then laughed and revealed, “Hyoyeon was actually the last to know. I told them in the order of Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon.”
The show also followed Tiffany’s daily life. After six busy months of musicals, tours, and album work, she was seen getting treatment at an ENT clinic, recording a campaign, appearing on a radio show, and rehearsing for a musical.
