Made in Korea Season 2 is officially coming to Disney Plus in September, with a new poster and teaser offering the first look at Hyun Bin’s increasingly dangerous rise to power.
The noir drama picks up nine years later as Baek Gi Tae (played by Hyun Bin), now at the height of his influence, races toward even greater ambition. The series was previously named one of TIME’s most anticipated K-Dramas of 2026.
The teaser poster shows Gi Tae seated comfortably in his office, appearing to have achieved everything he wanted by the end of Season 1 — yet looking strangely empty.
A nameplate reading “Director Baek Gi Tae” sits in front of him alongside the line, “Remember. What we’re doing is patriotism,” hinting that he will once again use loyalty to the country to justify his ruthless pursuit of power.

The teaser opens with Gi Tae sitting behind the desk in the presidential office. “I’ve waited a very long time for this moment,” he says.
Another voice warns, “Sometimes, a single decision can change the course of history,” as tense action sequences tease a major crisis that will shake the nation.
Baek Gi Hyeon (Woo Do Hwan) is also seen standing firmly against Gi Tae, while a newly emerging military faction prepares to challenge his Korean Central Intelligence Agency.
The biggest surprise comes when Jang Geon Young (Jung Woo Sung), who was defeated by Gi Tae in Season 1, suddenly returns. Gi Tae’s stunned reaction hints at the bloody power struggle ahead.
Director Woo Min Ho returns for Season 2 alongside Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, Woo Do Hwan, Seo Eun Soo, Won Ji An, Jung Sung Il and Roh Jae Won.
Made in Korea Season 2 premieres in September 2026 exclusively on Disney Plus.
