Dancer Young J is preparing to tie the knot.

On February 17th, the Just Jerk member and Street Man Fighter alum shared a set of wedding photos on Instagram, writing “Happy New Year” alongside images of himself and his bride-to-be. The photos show the couple in formal wedding attire, with his fiancée wearing both white and black off-shoulder dresses. Young J added, “It’s happening soon,” hinting that the ceremony is just around the corner.

The news comes after Young J was previously at the center of controversy in 2024 over reports that he had been involved with a fellow Just Jerk member who was a minor at the time—an issue that reportedly affected team dynamics and led to some members leaving.

Responding at the time, Young J acknowledged the relationship but said they only began dating after she had reached adulthood earlier that year, describing it as a serious relationship he was even considering for marriage.

He later issued an apology, saying, “We’ve been supporting each other and continuing our relationship,” and added, “I’m sorry for causing confusion and concern to those who have supported me and the team.” He also pledged to be more responsible in his role as a leader and to do his best moving forward.

Young J is set to marry his fiancée in a private ceremony in Seoul on February 22nd.
