Zico is enjoying a major real estate win.

According to local real estate firm Building Road, the artist purchased a building in Seongdong District, Seoul, in February 2018 for 4.8 billion won ($3.25 million). Including acquisition taxes and fees, the total investment is estimated at around 5.1 billion won.

The building spans from one basement level to four stories above ground, with a total floor area of about 890 square meters. Retail spaces occupy the lower floors, while the upper levels are leased as offices. Originally built in 1987 and remodeled in 2014, the property remains in solid condition.

Its location adds to its value, sitting just a three-minute walk from Ttukseom Station on Seoul’s Line 2.

Zico reportedly financed the purchase with a loan of approximately 3 billion won.

As of now, the building is estimated to be worth around 11 billion won ($7.5 million), representing a gain of more than 5 billion won in eight years.

Meanwhile, Zico is currently appearing as a judge on Mnet’s Show Me the Money 12.
