Kim Ok Vin is expecting her first child, about 10 months after getting married.
The actress personally announced her pregnancy on social media on September 7th, writing, “It’s been a long time since I’ve shared any news. The truth is, I’m getting ready to become a mom.”
Kim also revealed that she and her husband have given their baby the nickname “Ulu.”
“The baby’s nickname is Ulu, and Ulu is expected to be born in the Year of the Horse,” she wrote. “There are difficult moments, but I’m happy and doing my best to keep the baby safe and healthy.”
She continued, “Everything is a first for me, so these days everything feels new and amazing. I’m praying that Ulu and I can spend the rest of this time together in good health. When the day comes that we finally meet safely, I’ll share another update.”
Along with the announcement, Kim shared a photo of herself. Wearing a black dress with her hair cut into a short bob, the actress showed off her growing baby bump.
The pregnancy news comes about 10 months after Kim married her non-celebrity husband in a private ceremony on November 16th, 2025.
Kim made her acting debut in the 2005 film Voice, the fourth installment in the Whispering Corridors franchise. She went on to star in films including Thirst, Actresses and The Villainess.
Her television credits include the Arthdal Chronicles series and Love to Hate You.
