Yoon Jong Hun is getting married to actress Han Eun Seo.
According to his agency YK Media Plus on September 7th, the couple will tie the knot on November 1st at a private venue in Gangnam, Seoul. Yoon, born in 1984, and Han, born in 1994, have a 10-year age difference.
Yoon personally shared the news with fans through a handwritten letter posted to his fan cafe.
“After thinking deeply about how I should share this news, I decided to put pen to paper,” he wrote. “I have met someone very precious to me, and now I want to walk through life with that person.”
He continued, “After caring for, understanding and making an effort for each other, we are about to begin a new chapter called marriage. I wanted you to be the first to hear about this important moment in my life.”
“From now on, as someone’s husband and as actor Yoon Jong Hun, I want to live with an even greater sense of responsibility,” Yoon wrote. “As I always say, I will continue trying to become both a better actor and a better person.”
He added, “Another new chapter of my life is beginning, and I feel both excited and the weight of it.”
The couple first met while appearing together in the 2018 SBS drama Return and are reported to have later developed a romantic relationship that continued for several years.
Han Eun Seo made her acting debut as a child actress in the 2008 drama The Great King, Sejong. She later appeared in dramas including High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged, Ghost and The Hymn of Death.
Yoon made his debut in the 2013 tvN drama Monstar and went on to appear in Reply 1994, Misaeng and Return. He became widely known for playing Ha Yoon Cheol in The Penthouse series, and later starred in The Escape of the Seven series. He is currently appearing in the KBS daily drama Our Happy Days.
