Lee Yi Kyung‘s agency has claimed it has uncovered evidence suggesting that the woman who circulated sexual allegations about the star may have planned the accusations in advance.
On November 27th, his agency Sangyoung ENT stated, “We have passed evidence to our legal representatives as there are strong suspicions that the woman premeditated her claims. The materials will be submitted to investigators to verify their authenticity.”
The agency said it recently received an anonymous tip containing screenshots of the woman’s alleged Instagram direct messages. In them, she reportedly wrote:
“Should I email his company and ask for around 1 billion won ($684,000)?”
“My job doesn’t pay well, I’m short on living expenses. I even sold my phone.”
“ChatGPT says I won’t get punished. I’ll send it first, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll just apologize.”
The woman who is believed to be residing in Germany, said through a YouTube interview the previous day and insisted that she had exchanged messages with Lee Yi Kyung for about a year and a half, adding, “The email I sent to the agency wasn’t blackmail. I never asked for money—I just wanted to confirm it was really him.”
Earlier this month, the agency publicly dismissed A’s allegations as fabrications. “Through our legal counsel, we have filed complaints with the Gangnam Police for defamation and spreading false information against those who wrote and distributed related posts,” the statement read.
Lee Yi Kyung also personally addressed the issue on Instagram on the 21st, writing, “Every moment of this has been infuriating. This person, claiming to be a German national—whose identity we still don’t know—kept appearing and disappearing, just like when she sent a threatening email months ago.” He stressed, “Now that a warrant has been issued, the suspect will be identified soon.”
