Cast and crew members of the hit South Korean drama Agent Kim Reactivated are heading out on a well-deserved reward trip.
MyDaily reported on July 22nd that the production team and cast of the popular SBS Friday-Saturday series will depart South Korea for a celebratory vacation in Guam from August 18th to August 21st. While key cast members are expected to attend, some may be forced to sit out due to scheduling conflicts. The trip comes shortly after the cast of SBS’s My Royal Nemesis traveled to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, celebrating another hit for the network.
The show’s success has been remarkable. Agent Kim Reactivated quickly became a ratings hit in South Korea, surpassing the 20% mark in just four episodes before reaching an impressive 23.1% by episode eight.
The drama has also found major success overseas. According to Netflix’s Tudum Top 10 rankings, it recorded 8.2 million viewing hours between July 13th and July 19th, making it the No. 1 non-English series on the platform. After reaching the top spot in its second week, it has remained No. 1 for three straight weeks. The series ranked first in 19 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Qatar, and Bolivia, while also landing in the Top 10 in 73 countries worldwide.
Although the 10-episode series will end on July 25, the network has planned a special broadcast for July 31 and August 1 to give fans one last chance to revisit the drama.
Fans should also note that the final episode will air a little earlier than usual. Ize reported today that the finale on July 25th will begin at 9:45 PM, five minutes earlier than its regular 9:50 PM time slot. The earlier start allows for a longer runtime, giving viewers a little extra time with the drama before it comes to an end.
