Disney Plus has confirmed the July 5th premiere of Law and The City and unveiled the main poster.
Set in the bustling legal hub of Seocho-dong, the series follows five associate attorneys navigating the highs, lows, and absurdities of law firm life. The released main poster captures the vibrant energy of the five actors perfectly transformed into working lawyers in the legal town, immediately drawing attention.
Leading the “Law-vengers” (lawyer + Avengers) squad is Lee Jong Suk as Ahn Joo Hyung, a sharp, seasoned 9th-year associate known for his razor-sharp instincts and professional cool, driving the show’s central narrative. Playing 1st-year associate Kang Hee Ji is Moon Ga Young. Filled with fresh passion and determination, Hee Ji promises to deliver both laughter and relatability to viewers through her rookie struggles in the professional world.
Kang You Seok, who gained recognition through When Life Gives You Tangerines and Resident Playbook, adds delightful energy to the series as Jo Chang Won, the group’s resident chatterbox. Meanwhile, Ryu Hye Young from Reply 1988 takes on the role of Bae Moon Jung, a fiercely competitive character who dives headfirst into any challenge like a moth to a flame. Lim Seong Jae from Hellbound Season 2 plays Ha Sang Ki, an individualist whose only redeeming quality is his polite speech.
The script comes from writer Lee Seung Hyun, a practicing lawyer, bringing firsthand authenticity to the joys and sorrows of working lawyers. Directing is Park Seung Woo, acclaimed for his work on Kairos and Adamas, known for his sleek visuals and inventive storytelling.

Law and the City will stream exclusively on Disney Plus starting July 5th, with new episodes airing every Saturday and Sunday.
