K-Pop had a great year on the Billboard charts. From BLACKPINK’s Rosé to ATEEZ, many idols ranked high on the music lists. However, only a few secured number-one hit songs and maintained that spot for more than one week. Take a look at the lucky Billboard chart-topping group now.
Rosé and Bruno Mars—”APT.”
After entering the Billboard Global 200 chart at number one in October, “APT” has remained there for seven straight weeks. The autumn hit, which is the lead single from Rosé‘s debut studio album, Rosie, is wrapping the year up right with its undeniably catchy chorus. Because of its explosive popularity, BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’s song has even been compared to “Sorry, I Can’t Be a Good Kid” by Japanese singer-songwriter Miku Sawai. Some melodies in the song allegedly mirror each other, and fans have been torn on plagiarism concerns.

aespa – “Supernova”
In May, this single remained number one on the Billboard South Korea Songs chart for eight weeks. “Supernova,” which is from aespa’s first studio album titled Armageddon, gained interest from their YouTube variety show aesparty this summer and the group’s 2024 aespa LIVE TOUR—SYNK: PARALLEL LINE. They continue the tour globally next year.
IU – “Love Wins All”
In February, IU made history for two weeks on the Billboard South Korea Songs chart with her “Love Wins All” single. IU and BTS fans were drawn to this song even more when she invited BTS member V to be a part of her promotional music video. She continued her sixth EP, The Winning, momentum with a global solo tour this year.
ATEEZ – Golden Hour: Part 1
The popular boy band ranked number one on the Billboard World Albums chart for four weeks with their EP Golden Hour: Part 1. ATEEZ started the year by kicking off the world tour Towards the Light: Will to Power, and they enjoyed Billboard success by June.
TWICE – With You-th
In March, the songs on TWICE’s EP With You-th soared to number one on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart for two weeks. The girl group proceeded with their Ready to Be world tour this year, featured on a remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Mamushi,” and they made history at Amazon Music Live by being the first headlining K-Pop group. Those are just a few things that highlighted their magical chart-topping year.
