Ko Kyu Phil is going to become a father.
Spring ENT confirmed on June 19, saying, “Ko Kyu Phil and his wife Amin are expecting their first child. She is currently four months pregnant, and the baby is a girl.”
Ko Kyu Phil and Amin got married in 2023 after a long relationship of over nine years. Their wedding drew warm congratulations from fans and people in the entertainment industry.
Kim Nam Gil, who worked with Ko Kyu Phil on the SBS drama The Fiery Priest, even officiated the wedding, which also attracted attention due to their close friendship.
Ko Kyu Phil made his acting debut in the 1993 film Kid Cop. He has since built a steady career in both film and television, earning particular popularity for his role as “Chorongi” in THE ROUNDUP: NO WAY OUT. He is also known for appearances in The Fiery Priest, Crash Landing on You and the Netflix series Genie, Make a Wish.
