With only two episodes left until the finale, Lim Ji Yeon, Heo Nam Jun and Jang Seung Jo are sharing what viewers should watch for in My Royal Nemesis.
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama My Royal Nemesis is a rom-com about Shin Seo Ri (Lim Ji Yeon), an unknown actress labeled a troublemaker after becoming possessed by the spirit of Joseon’s most notorious villainess, and Cha Se Gye (Heo Nam Jun), a ruthless chaebol heir known as a monster born of capitalism.
The series has continued to gain momentum thanks to Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun’s perfectly matched performances and explosive chemistry.
In the latest episode, Seo Ri and Se Gye finally stopped holding back and took a step toward each other, only to face an unexpected crisis that could separate them across time and space. The story grew even more immersive as Seo Ri had a major awakening, realizing that she is the “real Shin Seo Ri.”
The preview released after Episode 12 also caught attention with Seo Ri’s meaningful line, “I’m not going back. I’ve returned to where I’m meant to be.” At the same time, Se Gye’s full-fledged counterattack against ultimate villain Choi Moon Do (Jang Seung Jo) was teased, raising curiosity for the final two episodes.
As anticipation builds for the drama’s final stretch, the three stars personally shared the key points to look out for.
Lim Ji Yeon said, “The biggest point to watch in the remaining two episodes is how Seo Ri and Se Gye’s tangled past-life connection will end, and whether they can win their happy ending.” She added, “Please stay with us until the very end.”
Heo Nam Jun pointed to the romance between Seo Ri and Se Gye, which is set to become even more emotional in the final episodes. “Se Gye and Seo Ri are running toward the climax of the story,” he said. “I hope viewers will immerse themselves in their increasingly heartfelt story.”
Jang Seung Jo raised curiosity about Moon Do’s ending, saying, “Since I am Moon Do… I hope viewers will also watch to see what kind of final mark I end up leaving.”
Episodes 13 and 14 of My Royal Nemesis air this Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST.
