The fight for the throne intensifies as the power struggles among Queen, princes, and tribes enter a new chapter.
Ahead of next week’s Part 2 release, TVING’s original series Queen Woo has unveiled a gripping new trailer and poster, signaling a dramatic escalation in the battle for the throne. The spotlight is on Queen Woo Hee (Jeon Jong Seo), who is ready to make her next move in this intense power struggle.
In Part 1, the series followed the perilous journey of Queen Woo Hee, who left the palace to find a new king after the sudden death of the reigning monarch. To prevent the cruel third prince, Go Bal Gi (Lee Soo Hyuk), from taking the throne, she engaged in a dangerous chase, outmaneuvering the White Tiger Clan who were hot on her trail.
The newly released trailer reveals the ongoing battle for power, as Queen Woo Hee, determined to secure the future of her family and the Goguryeo kingdom, faces off against her pursuers. With the formidable royal advisor Eul Pa So (Kim Mu Yeol) by her side, she fights off the relentless pursuit of Go Bal Gi. The tension ramps up as Woo Hee steps into the territory of the fourth prince, Go Yeon Woo (Kang Yeong Seok), who has aligned with the high priest’s forces. She is shown wielding swords and arrows, ready to fight to the end.
Amidst this chaos, Woo Sun (Jung Yu Mi) seeks to dethrone her sister and become queen, while Go Bal Gi’s desire for the throne grows more intense. In a dramatic declaration, Woo Hee states, “Now, let me show you what I am capable of,” hinting at her fierce determination to survive and succeed. As the chase intensifies, all eyes are on Woo Hee’s next move, as she breaks free from her role as a mere pawn in a deadly game of power.
The Part 2 poster also captivates viewers, featuring six key characters at the center of this power struggle. Woo Hee, wearing armor instead of the royal attire and drawing a bow, exudes newfound strength and resilience. As she fights for her survival, the fates of those around her remain uncertain, blurring the lines between allies and enemies in this thrilling chase.
Queen Woo Part 2 is set to premiere on Thursday, September 12th at 12 PM KST, exclusively on TVING.
