Yoo Ah In attended his second trial on the morning of the 23rd at the Seoul Central District Court, facing charges of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics, etc. This hearing comes approximately one month after his first trial on December 12th of last year.

On this day, the actor appeared at the court in a short haircut and a black suit, marking a notable change in appearance. When asked by the press about which parts of the charges he denies and if he also denies the charge of instigating evidence destruction, he remained silent, only stating, “I will clarify everything in court.”

Inside the courtroom, Yoo Ah In appeared more relaxed compared to the previous trial. He smiled lightly and conversed with his defense team. After the trial concluded, Yoo Ah In, escorted by his legal team and manager, maintained his silence on his way to his car.

Previously, at his first trial, Yoo Ah In admitted to smoking marijuana but contested other allegations, including instigating drug use, evidence destruction, abetting violations of the narcotics law, and planning to flee overseas. Additionally, his defense team stated that claims of administering other drugs besides Propofol were exaggerated and that a thorough review of the evidence and in-depth investigation were necessary to uncover the truth.

Yoo Ah In was charged without detention in October last year for habitual Propofol use, illegal purchase of sleep medication under someone else’s name, marijuana smoking and instigating others to do so, and instigating evidence destruction. The third trial for Yoo Ah In, including witness testimonies, is scheduled for March 5th in the afternoon.
