Ahn Bo Hyun shared his thoughts ahead of the premiere of FlexxCop.
FlexxCop is a comedic detective series that follows Jin Yi Soo (played by Ahn Bo Hyun), an immature third-generation chaebol heir who becomes a homicide detective.

Explaining why he chose to star in the upcoming series, Ahn Bo Hyun mentioned, “This is my second time teaming up with writer Kim Ba Da from My Name. I really liked the script – the story and characters drew me in, and I was excited to play my part. Plus, getting to work again with director Kim Jae Hong and the cinematographer from my first film, Hiya, made it a project I just had to be a part of.”
Speaking about his character Jin Yi Soo, the actor explained, “While Yi Soo may seem like a bit of a villain at times, he’s a character you’ll end up liking. Viewers will enjoy seeing how he turns the impossible into possible in this show,” expressing confidence.
This collaboration marks the reunion of Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun after their work on Yumi’s Cells. He remarked, “Working with her again was easy since it’s not our first time. She’s a cheerful and passionate actress, and our chemistry in FlexxCop will offer different chemistry compared to our previous projects.”
Closing the interview, he added, “Get ready for an awesome show where detectives and a rich guy team up to bring justice to a corrupted world. It’s going to be a show packed with thrills and fun!”
