Ha Seok Jin shared what he’s been up to after becoming the final winner of The Devil’s Plan on MBC variety show, Radio Star.
He mentioned, “After making an appearance on The Devil’s Plan, I got flooded with DMs from all over the world. I mean, Guatemala, Tunisia, Norway—everywhere. The amusing part is that a bunch of them were asking me to marry them. At first, I figured it was just their way of saying congrats on the win. But lately, these messages are coming from all genders,” sparking laughter on set.
The actor shared, “I could have been rewarded up to 500 million won ($386,204), but I ended up receiving only half of it as I failed to succeed in one mission. It felt like receiving a trophy with a numerical value. Despite the substantial financial reward, I didn’t use the prize money. I paid for the dinner at the program wrap party with my own money.” He continued, “After the program was released, I sent small gifts to the participants and the production team.”
The gift Seok Jin prepared was made of a coin made of pure gold. He said, “I thought about giving something with monetary value, so I sent them a pure gold coin. It’s quite heavy.” He jokingly added, “The first question from all the reporters was about the prize money. I wondered how to spend it, and even this worry seems to be part of The Devil’s Plan. While giving the gift, I felt like the weight had been lifted off my shoulders.”
