‘Semantic Error’ Star Park Seo Ham in Talks for ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Writer’s New Period Drama

Park Seo Ham may star in a new drama named Takryu (literal title).

Takryu is a captivating period drama that follows the remarkable journey of a man who starts his epic adventure as a ruffian at Mapo Dock, the bustling center of logistics and economy in Joseon. As his story unfolds, he transforms into a legendary figure of the era. The buzz is building around the upcoming series for the  highly-anticipated teamwork between director Choo Chang Min of Masquerade and writer Cheon Sung Il, known for his work on KBS’ The Slave Hunters and The Fugitive: Plan B, tvN’s L.U.CA.: The Beginning, SBS’ Your Honor and Netflix’s All of Us Are Dead.

The actor enlisted on March 10th last year and served as a social service worker after completing basic training. Although he still has five months left before his discharge on December 9th, fans are already eagerly anticipating his upcoming drama.

Park Seo Ham rose to global stardom after the release of Watcha’s BL drama Semantic Error in February of last year, just a month before his enlistment. Amid his heightened popularity, he signed an exclusive contract with Npio Entertainment on March 7th.

Meanwhile, Park Seo Ham’s agency clarified that no schedule has been confirmed regarding his new project after his military discharge. Earlier, it was announced that SF9’s Rowoon has emerged as a candidate for the lead role of the upcoming drama.
