Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun are making their highly-anticipated return to the small screen with the third season of Unexpected Business.
According to an exclusive report by Starnews on the 19th, it has been confirmed that Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun have recently decided to star in tvN’s Unexpected Business 3.
Unexpected Business is a reality show that chronicles the business exploits of two men who somehow become owners of a rural supermarket. After filming season one in Hwacheon County, Gangwon-do in February 2021, the show went to Naju City in Jeollanam-do for season two in February of last year.
The stage for season three will be America. As the COVID-19 situation is reaching a phase of de facto conclusion, overseas travel reality shows are increasing, and Unexpected Business is no exception. The show is breaking boundaries, opening a supermarket in the States.
Unexpected Business 2 included the expansion and relocation of the supermarket and A-list guest lineup such as Kim Hye Soo, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, Im Ju Hwan, Seolhyun, Han Hyo Joo and more. Thus, there are high expectations for what new formats and entertainment season three will bring.
tvN’s Unexpected Business 3 is directed by Yoo Ho Jin, following the first two seasons, and is set to be scheduled after Busan Boys: Sydney Bound.
Meanwhile, Jo In Sung will appear in the movie Smugglers, set to be released on July 26th. Cha Tae Hyun is currently appearing in SBS’s show Team Up 072 Season 5.
