Disney Plus Confirms January Release of ‘Super Junior: The Last Man Standing’

Disney Plus unveiled the poster for Super Junior’s upcoming documentary, announcing its release in January.

A documentary documenting the history of Super Junior, the K-pop act that celebrated its 18th debut anniversary this year, will be released exclusively on Disney Plus. Super Junior: The Last Man Standing tells an honest story of the boys who are now world-class artists.

The poster shows Super Junior members posing in an elegant study with the phrase “They were there at the beginning of K-pop!” Super Junior: The Last Man Standing follows the story of Super Junior’s birth and debut, from their intense trainee days and the beginning of the project group “Super Junior 05” to what they’ve become now. Also, the members, who are now heading toward the 20th anniversary of their debut, will honestly reveal their thoughts they’ve never shared anywhere before, revealing the days of joy and pain they’ve sailed through together. Moreover, through their story, we’ll get a glimpse into the K-pop industry.

Meanwhile, Super Junior is the boy band under SM Entertainment, consisting of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Having released multiple hit songs, Super Junior is known for their world tour “Super Show” which started in 2008. Now, the boys have performed more than 150 times in more than 30 cities around the world, meeting more than 2 million cumulative audiences. And during those times, Super Junior, who emphasized their own unique color, promoted in various fields such as variety shows, musicals, acting, and hosting radios, and released both group and solo albums.

Super Junior: The Last Man Standing released on January 18th.
