The final episode of The Golden Spoon, aired on November 12th, delivered a hard-hitting message on equality and justice. Lee Seung Cheon (played by Yook Sung Jae) goes through countless crises to maintain his prosperous life, but he only realizes what’s most important after losing his biological father. The episode left viewers with strong impressions by showing him missing his family’s happy old days and giving up what he had accomplished thus far to pay the price for misdeeds.
Yook Sung Jae shared his closing comments on his latest drama. He shared, “It’s sad to think this is the last episode. It’s been a while since I filmed a drama, and I feel thankful for all the love and support I’ve received on this project. I think this drama will give you a look at my different styles of acting in a desirous and ruthless character. Although the series has a dark and sophisticated plot, I was happy that everyone loved watching it as they follow along with the story.”
