Is Kim Seon Ho gearing up for his return?

On the 19th, a media outlet reported Kim Seon Ho’s comeback to the small screen with the new historical romance drama Haesi’s Shinru. SALT Entertainment confirmed, “Kim Seon Ho is positively reviewing the offer.”

Set in the reign of Sejong the Great, the time also called the Renaissance of Joseon, Haesi’s Shinru tells the love story of the crown prince who loves the stars and a mysterious woman who sees the future. The drama is penned by writer Yoon Yi Soo, who wrote the original web novel. She’s also the writer of the novel Love in the Moonlight, which was also adapted into a TV series in 2016.

The role Kim Seon Ho was offered is the Crown Prince Lee Hyang. If he does join the project, this marks the actor’s second historical drama following 100 Days My Prince.

This isn’t the only new project Kim Seon Ho was cast in. He’ll be working with The Witch series director Park Hoon Jung once again. SALT told Sports Today, “Kim Seon Ho will star in Park Hoon Jung’s new movie Tyrant (literal title).”

Previously, Kim Seon Ho teamed with Park Hoon Jung for the movie Sad Tropical. This was the only project the actor wasn’t replaced with, even after the scandal about his private life broke out.
