Jessica, a former member of Girls’ Generation, will make her second girl group debut.

Several Chinese media outlets reported that Jessica would make her second debut as a girl group member after ranking No.2 in Sisters Who Make Waves Season 3. The program features female celebrities in their 30s who must compete to debut as a five-member girl group.

With Taiwanese singer Cyndi Wang at No.1, Jessica became the second most popular contestant. Other stars, including Win Win, Tan Weiwei, Gillian Chung, Charlene Choi, Fiona Sit, Amber Kuo, Tansui, and Zang Tian’ai, also seized the opportunity to re-debut as a female group. Reports say that Jessica shed tears after the announcement was made and her sister Krystal congratulated her on the good news.

However, many fans are showing their disappointment in her failure to claim the group’s top spot and her absence from Girls’ Generation’s comeback on their 15th anniversary. Furthermore, as Tyler Kwon’s ex-girlfriend, Gillian Chung, also entered the top 10 list, fans are concerned over the fact that she now has to work with her current lover’s ex-girlfriend.

In 2014, Jessica suddenly announced her departure from Girls’ Generation. Later, she established her fashion brand named BLANC & ECLARE with her boyfriend. However, as a Chinese entertainment company sued her over the damages she made by violating their contract, her fashion brand also got embroiled in a debt lawsuit.
