One Thousand Won Lawyer (literal title) has finalized its full cast – Namkoong Min, Kim Ji Eun, Choi Dae Hoon, Lee Deok Hwa, and more.
SBS’s new Friday-Saturday series One Thousand Won Lawyer is an exhilarating legal drama. It tells the story of a crazy lawyer with excellent skills who only charges his clients a dollar going up against rich, big-time lawyers.
The never-failing actor Namkoong Min plays Chun Ji Hoon, the most cost-effective legal hero who only charges a dollar for his attorneys’ fees. With permed hair and style that makes him look like he just popped out of an alley in London, Chun Ji Hoon is the rebel of the legal circle.
Joining him in the cast is his The Veil co-star Kim Ji Eun. She plays Baek Ma Ri, a probational public prosecutor from a prestigious legal family. The life of Baek Ma Ri, who used to be arrogant and overflowing with self-esteem, takes a new shift after she meets the “idiot’ Lawyer Chun.
Moreover, Choi Dae Hoon plays Seo Min Hyuk. As a prosecutor from a legal family, all he wishes is to continue enjoying all the privileges he has. After training at the Brooklyn District Prosecutors’ Office in the States for two years, he returned to Korea with one goal – to marry Baek Ma Ri and change her family law firm “Baek” into “Baek & Seo.” Lastly, veteran actor Lee Deok Hwa joins the production as Baek Hyun Moo, Baek Ma Ri’s grandfather and the founder of the law firm Baek.
Meanwhile, One Thousand Won Lawyer will premiere later this year.
