A report came out that former (G)I-DLE member Soojin became the new member of BPM Entertainment. However, the agency has denied the rumors.
On the 11th, YTN star reported that Soojun had recently signed with BPM Entertainment. BPM Entertainment is an entertainment agency that manages Soyou, VIVIZ, Huh Gak, Lee Mu Jin, Mighty Mouth, and more.
But soon after the report came out, an official from the label told iMBC, “We’ve never even met with Soojin. The report about her signing a contract with us is groundless.”
Meanwhile, Soojun debuted as the main dancer of (G)I-DLE in 2018. However, she got swept up in a school violence controversy in February last year. Though the singer asserted that rumors about her being a school bully were false, she was removed from the group six months after the first allegations were made. Then in March this year, she ended her contract with Cube Entertainment.
