Yoo In Na is caught in the crossfire of controversies surrounding JTBC’s Snowdrop.
The actress did voice-over work for KBS’ UHD History Special. Upon its release on December 28th, viewers raised concerns over her taking part in a historical documentary show.
Yoo In Na joined the recording of KBS1’s UHD History Special – The Museum is Alive as the museum guide. Additionally, she played the voice of Tou, a clay doll made in Silla 1500 years ago. Part 1 of the show aired on December 28th, and the second half will air on January 4th next year.
What sparked the controversy is Yoo In Na’s most recent drama Snowdrop, which is currently in a heated controversy over its political and historical content. Some viewers said it was inappropriate for her to take part in a historical documentary at a public network, considering the ongoing petition on the Blue House website asking for the suspension of Snowdrop.
On the other hand, some pointed out that the criticism went too far, as Yoo In Na was voluntarily participating in a noncommercial program.
