JTBC’s upcoming drama Thirty, Nine unveiled its first batch of stills featuring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun. The drama will premiere in February next year after Artificial City �wraps its season.
Thirty, Nine revolves around the romance and everyday lives of three women who are on the verge of turning 40. Son Ye Jin (Cha Mi Jo), Jeon Mi Do (Jung Chan Young) and Kim Ji Hyun (Jang Joo Hee) will take on the role of three 39-year-old friends.
Fate brought the three friends together at high school, and they have been best friends since they first met. They have been there for each other in happy and sometimes embarrassing times. However, they face an unexpected ordeal as they turn 39, which forces them to say goodbye to one another.
In the first set of stills, the three actresses surprised viewers with their pleasant new looks. Son Ye Jin steals the spotlight as Cha Mi Jo, the head dermatologist at a high-end clinic in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do is in character as Jung Chan Young, a drama teacher with a unique style. Kim Ji Hyun boasts her charm as Jang Joo Hee, a lovely cosmetic manager at a department store.
