Kakao Entertainment shared new stills of Ong Seong Wu in character for its new original series Shall We Have a Cup of Coffee?
Shall We Have a Cup of Coffee? tells a story about a young man named Kang Go Bi, a rookie barista who enters the coffee industry with pure passion. In it, he becomes an apprentice of the grand coffee master, Park Seok (played by Park Ho San), and starts to learn everything about coffee and people. It is a drama adaptation of Heo Young Man’s comics (Korean comic) of the same name.
Ong Seong Wu plays a man named Kang Go Bi, who becomes a rookie barista at a coffee shop while preparing for a civil service exam. At the famous coffee shop owned by Park Seok, he slowly learns about the basics of coffee, people and the world.
The new pictures had him completely in character. The production team shared that he’s put his heart and soul into the role by attending multiple professional brewing courses before shooting.
Shall we have a cup of coffee? will premiere on October 24th.
