Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran to Turn Into a Hilarious Couple in the New Webtoon-Adapted Series

The new TVING original series ‘Internal Medicine Doctor Park’ (literal title) confirmed the casting of Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran.

Internal Medicine Doctor Park is a realistic comedy-drama that depicts a novice doctor’s “funny yet sad” life. He dreamed of becoming a true doctor, but now, Doctor Park struggles between medicine and tactics in his empty office. His bittersweet story will present pleasant laughter to the viewers.

The original webtoon of the same name has ranked 1st on Daum Webtoon League and garnered more than 4 million views on Naver Webtoon Best Challenge. The work’s attractive feature is that it depicts the restless daily life of local doctors against the backdrop of a Korean-style medical building where clinics and pharmacies are located. Since a physician with 18 years of experience drew the webtoon, the realistic story and details will arouse sympathy.

Director Seo Jun Beom, the “hitmaker” of commercials, will pen and direct the drama remake.

Above all else, the collaboration of Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran is at the center of attention.

First, Lee Seo Jin will challenge his first-ever comical character with Internal Medicine Doctor Park. Doctor Park, played by Lee, dreams of becoming a rich and wise doctor. He thought he would walk a flowery path once he opened his clinic, but that was nothing more than a dream. The constant smile makes his face twitch, and the more he “serves” his patients, the more hair falls out. Doctor Park’s struggle to revive his clinic will put a smile on viewers’ faces.

Ra Mi Ran, the master of comic acting, plays Sa Mo Rim, Doctor Park’s wife. Though she’s married to a doctor, she believes in pseudoscience and “show doctors” on TV even more. She spits fire from time to time, but her reckless and feisty assistance will certainly catch the eye.
