NCT Dream is on a record-breaking streak.

As of June 1st, “Hot Sauce,” the title track of NCT Dream’s first full album, has surpassed 91 million views on YouTube. First uploaded on May 10th, this music video now only has 9 million views left until it reaches 100 million views. This is by far the fastest achievement by the group. At this pace, “Hot Sauce” will become NCT Dream’s second 100 million-viewed music video, following “BOOM.”

According to YouTube, “Hot Sauce” MV recorded 40 million views on the first day. Since then, the daily views dropped to 25 million, 15 million, and 9 million in the next three days. This is a faster drop than NCT 127, but it still is NCT Dream’s best record.

But in terms of album sales, NCT Dream is on a roll. SM Entertainment announced that 2,040,360 copies of the album were sold, and this figure ranks 7th following BTS, which has its name on the top 6 spots. With Hot Sauce, NCT Dream has set the new best record for the first-week album sales among all the NCT sub-units. In just two days, the group became the new holder of the all-time best record made by K-pop groups’ first full album. And in just four days, they ranked first in the SM artists’ album sales chart.

On top of that, NCT Dream now holds three new records related to the first-week sales: the first K-pop group to sell 1 million copies in the first week, the first SM artist to sell 1 million copies in the first week, and the first NCT’s sub-unit to sell 1 million copies in the first week.

An official shared, “Hot Sauce is the first album that NCT Dream dropped since Mark rejoined the team. With this album, NCT Dream won its first million-seller and double million-seller titles. Not only did the album swept the Korean music charts, but it also topped iTunes Top Album Chart in 37 countries.”
